How to roll up of marijuana blunt step-by-step instructions

1. You’re gonna need some weed. I’m not gonna tell you how to find it in this post, I’m sure you already know how  . I use about a gram in a Cigarillo, you can use more or less depending on what you want, but it’s hard to fit more than 1.5g-2g in a ‘rillo blunt shell. Normal sized cigar blunts can have anything from 1g-4g or 5g, a normal blunt though is 1g. Break up the marijuana into very small pieces, about equal size, you don’t want it a powder, but you want it chopped up good, kinda like chopped onions. You can use your fingers for this, razor blade, or a weed grinder. Weed grinders make rolling a blunt much more enjoyable, because the majority of the time spent rolling one is breaking up the weed. If I have a large flat surface and no access to a grinder, but a razor blade you can use that to chop up your bud, it takes a little more time, but I think it makes a better consistency than just breaking it up by hand. Some people I know prefer scissors, but I just can’t handle them right to break up the weed, and they seem kinda dull to me when compared to the razor blade.



2. Find a razor, blunt splitter, or just use your fingers to split the blunt. A blunt splitter is just a handy dandy ring shaped tool that slides on top of the blunt, and has a small blade on the inside to cut the blunt shell. Razor blades are easy to find, and easy to cut the shell with. Lick the shell first along the line that you’re going to cut. Then just slide your razor over the shell. If you licked the shell like I told you you should get a good, straight cut, that isn’t tattered.



3. Now lick the shell some more, you don’t have to get it completely soaked like some people seem to imply (I had a friend who completely drenches his shells when he rolls a blunt and it’s really nasty to see all his spit and shit dripping off the blunt right before we’re about to smoke it, even after you dry it it’s still kinda nasty, I don’t like to indirectly make out with guys), just lick it to seal up the ends and to get it slightly moist, it makes the shell easier to manipulate and less likely to rip.



4. Put your finely ground up weed your blunt shell, it’s usually easier to hold the shell between your finger and your thumb in one hand then place the weed into the center of the V-shape that is made from holding the blunt shell. Make sure it is even all the way through the blunt. Sometimes its hard to make it even if you’re in a hurry, but without any previous blunt rolling experience it’s much easier if it is spread out evenly.



5. Here is the hard part, the actual rolling of the blunt. Hold your blunt shell with both hands, compress the weed down into the shell, be gentle and just push it down somewhat. Use your thumbs to tuck the bottom lip of the shell inside towards the top lip of the blunt shell, but inside with the weed. You can use your thumb and your index fingers in both hands to gently ‘roll’ or rock back and forth the weed in the shell to get it to distribute good and compresses it a little bit more. Once you get the bottom lip tucked in the top lip, some people recommend that you finish rolling the entire thing right there, which is great if you get a good tight fit with your first try. But for me it is harder to roll the entire blunt in one go, so I like to work my way down from one end to the other, constantly tightening the shell and working with the blunt. Just use your fingers to roll it tighter, but watch out for what the weed in the other end of the shell is doing, it’s easy to drop some when you do it this way. While working your way down don’t forget to seal it with out saliva, all you need to do is lick inside of the outer rolled part of the shell, if it is too wet it is often hard to get it to seal, use your spit in moderation.



6. Once you’ve rolled the blunt, give the outside of it a good lick down to seal it completely, remember like I’ve said before you only need enough saliva to make it work for you, if it gets too wet it’s pretty hard to get it to seal without it coming apart later on.
7. After the blunt is sealed, you can let it air dry, bake it in the oven with honey like some people suggest, or just use your lighter to dry it off and make it stiff. A lighter is the fastest, but don’t burn the shell cause then it just doesn’t take good, if your shell turns black after you’re done drying it then you’re doing it too much.
8. Light up and enjoy!
